Quote of the Day

President George W. Bush, you either hate him or you love him people say. I don't know if he is that polarizing, but I know this, I respect the guy. He has made mistakes, I'm not making excuses, and maybe he could've been a better president - we will never know.

But there is one thing he has, that ironically is his most criticized quality, yet the one I respect the most - the guy has resolve. He sticks to his guns. Period. Never expressed better than today (my emphasis):

"I understand some of the things I've done are unpopular. But that's what comes with the territory. If you're afraid to make decisions and you only worried about, you know, whether or not people in the classroom are going to say nice things about you, you're not leading,"

"I know some would like me to change, but you can't be a good decision-maker if you're trying to please people. You've got to stand on what you believe, that's what you've got to do, if you're going to make decisions that are solid and sound"

And that, good or bad for politics, is a highly respectable human quality. Read the story here.
