Cubans Escape

In a strong showing of the meaning of the rafts only go one way, three Cubans being held in the Bahamas, possibly awaiting repatriation, have escaped possibly looking for greener pastures known as the USA.

Additionally, 25 rafters were seen in Cayman Island waters. They requested some assistance that was denied, and they continued their trip also headed towards the USA.

Out of fuel and needing repair, they continued the trip unassisted. Imagine the despair.
