I'm Back - sort of

Happy 2007! It is in January 2007 that this humble blog has turned one year old, and what a strange trip it's been.

I don't blog much about the island, usually leave that to El Loco, but this just takes the cake. While other people bark at Tancredo or try to highlight the crime rate in Miami in Puerto Rico there have been 41 murders in 12 days. Yup you read right - 41, that's almost 4 a day.

So violent has been the start of the year, that the current governor is comtemplating a strategy of past governors - activate the National Guard.
