What to make of this?

Last week Obama garnered a record 38.3 (38.4 depending who you read) million viewers tuning in to watch his acceptance speech.

This week Sarah Palin garnered 37 million viewers tuning in to watch her acceptance speech.

Pretty impressive numbers for political conventions don't you think? But still not surprising since both Obama and Palin are great speakers.

But was McCain supposed to beat them both with 38.9 viewers tuning in to watch his acceptance speech?
